Croatia just came one step closer to becoming a member of the European Union. This also means some aspects of travel to and from Croatia will change, mostly for the better. For now and for most of you, things will be quite simple: have your passport with you and have fun! However, citizens of some countries may have to request a visa to enter Croatia so we urge you to ask about visas at the nearest Croatian embassy. During the procedure, you will need a guarantee letter from us. Yeah, this means we will have to invite you formally besides all the spam we send out. If you do need a guarantee letter, please contact us at info@summertango.com as soon as possible.

Good news: from April 1st to October 31st 2012, citizens of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijani Republic do not need a visa to enter Croatia. Also, from the beginning of this year, holders of a valid Schengen visa don’t need the Croatian visa as well. Just make sure your Schengen visa expires only after the festival. This applies to holders of either the Schengen residence permit, a uniform Schengen visa or a long stay visa for ANY country belonging to the Schengen Area.
